Hi everyone! Didn't know where to put this question as deducting from the screenshot she's working on a mac, but I guess the question has more to do with the camera ... A friend tried to send me a photo, but the quality is too poor for me to use it for our clubmagazine. Turns out she has a new camera, but the program that came with the camera automatically resizes the pictures when importing them. If she takes out the card and transfers the pictures manually they turn green! Anyone any idea how to make the software behave and get the photo's on the pc in their normal size ór how to transfer the photo's manually and make them visible???

Hi Sarah, I have the new Nikon d3200 but don't have this problem importing from the card in either Windows or Linux. A jpeg is a jpeg in any OS. On the Nikon menu I don't see any changes that could be made to the size when importing / exporting. The ones I want I just copy and paste into a new folder or directly into the preferred app. Anything in the folder opens as an exact copy. I don't use the supplied software to import or edit but Office Picture Manager as basic or a plethora of 3rd party open source stuff, without issues. Right clicking in Windows bring up the options 'open with'. Could be that the mac software needs tickling with? Never got on with Apple Macs, there's always something missing........

There's a big bite missing I'd say :P I'll ask her to import the pics on someone else's pc - maybe that will do the trick.
