@ brian
On this forum:
No one is interested in Building New Computer Machines
No one cares about Advanced Technology Phones and Appliances
No one wants to discuss New Windows Systems or even iOS Systems.
No one is interested in Advanced Technology New Automobiles and Robotics
May be the site should just become a museum site ?

What's to discuss? It is being forced upon us whether we like it or not!
I would guess that many of us take the "Tiny House" and "Living Off Grid" approach to things.

May be the site should just become a museum site ? Disagree Rick. It's just that there are not enough regular members to keep discussions going. I admit I'm not a builder but then I'm sure you're not that interested in Digital Forensics and Encryption. Advanced Tech is fantastic I love learning about it however, phones are just boring to me and as for appliances...well, I like a washing machine to be a washing machine and not offer to make me coffee while I wait. I moved away from Windows systems in favour of Open Source, iOS is just too expensive for me but that's not to say others aren't interested in them. In order for it to become a museum site we would have to remove all the new software, tech, decryptors etc. In fact based on the regular member count we have more to offer than most sites in a similar position, so I don't think it's a case of non - interest, more a case of not enough members to further the discussion. That's my 2££'s worth anyway.

I think you "hit the nail on the head" with your last response.
Unfortunately I don't have any new ideas on how to remedy the situation.

I have just thought of a way to reduce theft in stores by at least 75%. A system that has not been thought of by anyone else. Does that count as new technology?

Rick, it is thanks to you, irv and WHS for your experiences posted here on the win 10 sharing in / on a professional basis
Seems the build community is reducing perhaps.....
Interesting....a 75% reduction in online theft would be a good starting point.
The unfortunate thing here is whether shoplifting or online 'lifting' is ever going to end.
Shut one door and another plethora of fuckers hit us.
