Hi everybody!
Keeping old computers running has one downside: things deteriorate over time. My sd card reader (such a all in one front thingy with 2 usb 2.0 ports) is kaput. So I wanted to order a new one, but then I got lost in the massive amount of options ...
What I'm looking for is an affordable all in one reader with at least SD card reader and 2 or more USB ports. I've seen loads of them for just a few euro's but they all have just one USB port.
Another thing is there is this USB 2.0 / 3.0 issue. I have an external drive that is USB 3.0 and it is distinctly faster than the 2.0 versions, but maybe that is just because it is a new drive and the others are old hard drives put in external cases. I'm not sure my motherboard supports true 3.0 ports. How do I find out?
Greatly appreciate your input :)

The second one doesn't have an image included. Is that one with 4 USB ports too?

If you look at the details down below. it seems to be the same one. Just have it sent to your mum if there's a postage issue.
And send her my love:)

LOL. btw, is your internal USB connection 2 or 3. Will work on either, but for max speed you may want to fit a usb 3 card. But we shall wait and see first.

I think 2.0 and I was worried about that. Good to know that is fixable. Weird thing is though that I have a 3.0 external drive and when I put it on a 2.0 port it still is a lot faster (and more reliable) than a 2.0 drive. So that confuses me :P
