Hiya guys :)
Yesterday morning all was still well in paradise. I could watch the news or videos from "uitzending gemist" with no problem at all. Yesterday evening I got a prompt from 'uitzending gemist' that I had to update my Adobe Flash Player. So I did. I go back to the website and guess what? It tells me to update Adobe Flash Player!
So today I uninstalled AFP completely, rebooted and reinstalled the lastest version. I get the same message.
I have updated Firefox, uninstalled AFP with a designated uninstaller, rebooted and ... yup I get the same message.
Nothing else has changed on my computer since yesterday morning, it must be something to do with Adobe. But I can't find it and it is bugging me to no end.
Any help greatly appreciated (as always :D )
Some stats: Vista SP2, Firefox 49.0.2, AFP 23 something.

Sarah
There was a main stream CRITICAL Adobe Flash patch issued ~~09/13/2016.
www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=KB3188128
There was another patch issued around ~~10/11/2016 Am not sure MS even supports Vista any longer.
Lighthouse would know.
Hope you and yours are all well.

SarahIf it's this site: www.npo.nl/uitzending-gemist I have a feeling it could be site related as opposed to flash player related even though the site redirects to Chrome options / settings, the site however just seems to harbour .PNG images instead of video I can't seem to find a way of streaming (even through VLC) from the site or by trying to get the sites NPO player data. Wouldn't be the first time they've had these issues on their site(s). Members of my family listen to the NPO5 / Radio Netherlands for the old music (a bit like Radio Caroline which they also listen to online), they had a similar issue with the NPO player not streaming for a day or two.

Hi Rick, doing great, thank you! Got a litter of pups are the moment and they keep me busy Hope you are well too! Hi GS - you might be on to something as Adobe itself shows a page after installing that only shows properly if the flash player is installed right and it does show up right. So I will leave it be for a day or two before going overboard I don't have television, so I'm completely depending on NPO for the news and for watching programs using 'uitzending gemist'.

I've asked the people from NPO on facebook if they were having problems, but all is ok on their side, so I'm wondering why things won't work anymore for me :(
I got the same message to update on my other PC, updated and lo and behold it works! So at least I can watch Witse now LOL. But I want things to work on my main pc too (the other one has got no sound).
Any ideas?

Found it!!!!
When the adobe flash player is outdated Firefox disables the plugin (called Shockwave Flash plugin to add to the confusion). After updating the plugin you'll have to go to add-ons > plugins and manually enable the shockwave plugin!
Pretty happy now ^_^
