Hi guys, I'm supposed to be the one knowing about folders and here I go - stuck with a (minor) problem. Recently I cleaned my keyboard and I think that is what triggered the change (probably hit a shortcut of some sort), but I don't know how to get it back to normal. In Vista I've set my folders like the screenshot, but till three days ago the white bar at the bottom wasn't there. The blue area would go on till the edge. What is that little white bar called and more importantly how do I get rid of it?

Hi Sarah. Click on View, and uncheck Status Bar.

Yep, that will clear it. I do like to see the status bar, if available in any window especially browser, they give quite good info when linking for instance
