OK, I had a driver problem, product support sent me a link for a new driver. Somehow the FILENAME got messed up, it added some '.''s to the filename and PeaZip created a folder that ended in '...'.
A DIR output:
K:\Inet DL>dir br*

Volume Serial Number is 0F0B-10C0

The file that came in at 6:27AM had its name corrupted. I didn't realize it and just UNZIPped it. Did that at 8:14AM. I couldn't open it. Then I realized I had TWO of the same basic name. On the UNZIP I used a different folder and that worked.
Tried a bunch of ways to get rid of it:
K:\Inet DL>rd BrosTrend-AC3-Driver-10302608012017-2018...
The system cannot find the file specified.
K:\Inet DL>rd "BrosTrend-AC3-Driver-10302608012017-2018..."
The system cannot find the file specified.
K:\Inet DL>rd "BrosTrend-AC3-Driver-10302608012017-2018*."
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
The system cannot find the file specified.
K:\Inet DL>rd "BrosTrend-AC3-Driver-10302608012017-2018..."
The system cannot find the file specified.
K:\Inet DL>rd "BrosTrend-AC3-Driver-10302608012017-2018*."
The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.
As you can see, none worked?
Got Unlocker, it could delete it but asked if I wanted to do that on the next boot, SURE!! It didn't do it.
Scoured the web and tried EVERY POSSIBLE way documented. USB Boot and change via the CMD line to the parent folder INET DL and tried, nope... Safe Mode, nope.... Turning on the Administrator ID and using it, nope... argh...
W10 does have a true bug, you can't delete a file that ends in a period, and I guess that is true for folders too?
Suggestions? Know of a program that will do it? I do have a backup of the drive, but I don't want to re-format the drive and restore just to get rid of it? I might have to though if Acronis should choke on the next time it tries to back up the drive?
