Hi Kate, There is this site www.gadwin.com/download/ however even though it checks out on multiple scans WinPatrol did alert me it could run in the background and slow things down. Also I think this is only a trial (might be wrong).

Morning Kate. whs once recommended this; www.techsmith.com/jing.html which is free. I have used it in the past. Also you have snipping tool in Vista and win 7, Accessories, Snipping tool, which I use a lot and have it pinned to the taskbar. And there is the PRTSC key, 'Printscreen' upper right on keyboard, activating this will put a screen capture to the clipboard. Just open Paint and CTRL + v and that will paste the capture.

Hi Kate I also use Jing. Its major benefit is that it will upload captures directly to photobucket if you need to share. Another one I use is Greenshots ( getgreenshot.org/downloads/ ). It has fairly good annotating capabilities like text notes, arrows and highlighting as well as obfuscating sensitive information.

That's probably the best option. I missed or forgot (I forget which ) the part about this being for a twitchy non techy.

Silly woman You have to do it manually. Edit the original post, and add (Solved) to the topic title. p.s., I meant she was silly. Not you
