Can you expand a little further Sarah, for example what adverts were on the page and whether or not you're still getting the issue?

Was just a one time thing, though I've had it once before on this site (long time ago). Normally don't have any of that. Contents ... well let's just say adult and not suitable for early morning or sensitive souls. Thought I'd see quite something on another forum I used to moderate, but had to tilt my head sideways to figure out what exactly I was looking at, before realizing I didn't want to see that at all :P

Sarah, all the models since 3000 have both usb 2, and 3 connections. So you should be ok with 3. Just means looking inside the case.

LOL, yes should have done that before ...
Reader arrived, tried to put it in this morning, but there is no place for those connectors and things look way different. Apparently the old one is not one thingy, but a seperate card reader and a seperate thingy for the two USB. The seperate card reader has the size of an old floppy drive sloth.
New thingy has the size of a dvd drive and two different connectors that I don't have place for. So now I have to bether my mum to ask her to send the new thingy back to amazon and I'm still without a card reader. Blegghhhh ...
