Interested in obtaining information, tutorials, or hands on experiences using power shell. Who needs it and why, would be helpful. I know there are books available. If you want to recommend one that you have used and think it is the best by all means please do post the name of it. technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb978526.aspxI have read the above link, but maybe a somewhat savvy user of windows computers, not just an IT specialist may need to know the information too. (yes, no, maybe)? Looking for your opinion here. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Edit: I did find this, have not had time to sit through it yet however. technet.microsoft.com/en-US/scriptcenter/dd901154.aspx

Thanks Irv, I found both of the links you gave interesting. There is a lot to look through and will be sure to do so. Will post more later thanks again.

If you want to 'do something', I find it useful to search for what you want to do and add Powershell. Like this, 'windows permissions powershell' and you'd be surprised what you find. I have a small collection of such files.

Will certainly try that once I read the other links. All the time spent on the HTG site in the olden days don't remember mention of powershell. Might have missed it though. Appreciate your input.
