Now I could make a joke here but I won't.

It's kind of like Optic Fibre without the Fibre.

I like the part about 3.53secs in, the guy says "everywhere you have light you have a means of communicating".

Such as "Oi, turn that bloody light out I've got a migraine". Don't we have enough light pollution as it is without adding more?
