My VGA card has a unique and 100% unobtainable cooling fan with a dodgy bearing. So I've been pretty much listening to that lately. Still sounds better than Z machines though.

Kev, I have on several occasions bodged a fan to fit in those circumstances. I am sure you could do that:) Being the clever person you are.

The heatsink is one of those contoured, low profile buggers, and I see no way to easily attach another fan. I've bodged a small heatsink and 40mm fan on for the time being. Does the job, albeit not particularly well. Still, nice to hear my music again.

I could make space, but I'd like to keep it single slot to allow room for my Freesat card. I'm looking at some nice passive coolers, but it might actually be cheaper/easier to change the card itself.
