i have been contemplating something here with all of the win 8.1 problems with Microsoft every other week am i crazy to think that Dos might be the go to OS? i know there's Linux and i am ok with that. it just seems to me though that MS is going backwards on the OS'S first we had windows 1 then 3.1 and 3.1 actually ran ok then we had windows 95 which was ok for what it was meant to be. Then we had windows 98 which by far in that generation was the best OS then there was windows me which by my standards was a full blown waste of time.
then we have Vista which was a memory hog you had to have 4 gigs of ram to even run it well. windows 7 came next and i am using it today and now we have the dreaded Windows 8 line of which has been nothing but problematic then here comes 8.1 the Savior of the OS'S but as soon everyone got on the bandwagon there are still more problems with the updates. what next? Dos 8.0?
This was just some food of thought here no data to back it up with or anything, just tired of going in a vicious circle that MS is forcing everybody to do if they choose to do so. Me? i am staying where i am now with Windows 7 until 2020..
