Odd, not killing it off, just 'creating' another one with the MS brand on it? They think they'll get more users that way? I know many applications use the IE Engine. If you remove IE from Windows you'll discover at some point some application will no longer work. I suppose that is why it will still be there? Who needs a dup on the computer? As it is I HAVE to keep IE around for that rare website that doesn't always work. Use Firefox and the OPEN IN IE add-on when I hit those. How will those sites that really need IE work is a good question? Maybe that is why MS is keeping IE?
