Recently I have encountered problems with IE 9. With the auto install with Windows Updates I blocked an automatic upgrade to IE 10 with this tool; www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=36512This was successful. I am not a fond fan of IE but there are some websites I edit that can only be done in IE. I test uploads in IE, Firefox, Palemoon and Comodo Dragon browsers. However, recently, when looking at uploading and rendering options, with IE open, all browsers crashed after 'publishing'. But this did not happen when IE 9 was closed. NB, was logged in as Admin in all browsers in edit mode, but logging out made no difference! So the question is; has MS messed this block to render IE 9 to become unstable? Has anyone else experienced this anomaly? I have now installed IE 10 and the problem is resolved but I wonder why this happened. Any thoughts are welcome

No idea about that Mike, I still have IE7. Tried IE8 didn't like it so went back, IE9 never took my fancy and have only tried IE10 on Win8 and nothing made me think I needed it.
Verdict: Sticking with IE7 regardless. (and I rarely use that either)
