The new version of Revo Uninstaller is available for free download It has a new interface, and really does see all installs where windows may not. It is much quicker than the older version(s). Tested, used under Win X Get it HERE>>>>>

The new version of Revo Uninstaller is available for free download It has a new interface, and really does see all installs where windows may not. It is much quicker than the older version(s). Tested, used under Win X Get it HERE>>>>> I need to look at this.... I had an older version I paid for in 2010. Had to do that because at that time the x64 version was NOT free. As time went on and Windows was updated it slowed down considerably. Newer Revo versions claimed to work faster, and again, x64 was not free and a new license was required. I switched to Advanced Uninstaller. I've not had a problem with any 'add-on' with the new Adv. Uninstaller though? I've been able to turn off all stuff. I've also played with Soft Organizer ( www.chemtable.com/soft-organizer.htm) which is about the same capability but does have some other features such as a remover for already uninstalled programs and installed program updates (search for those once you open the icon). I don't use those features but it is interesting as the 'already uninstalled' seems to find additional items to delete when I've used other ways to delete programs? From what I can tell Revo Free does support x64, so I'll give that a try. Thanks for the pointer.

Irv, I also use Soft Organizer (Pro version from gaotd) which still works after several years. Use it mainly for tracing installs on progs I am testing.

Irv, I also use Soft Organizer (Pro version from gaotd) which still works after several years. Use it mainly for tracing installs on progs I am testing. Same here from GAOTD (which has gotten to be less of a source these days with offering limited licenses). It only has the 1 year license though. I look at Soft Organizer against Advanced Uninstaller. Interesting to look at : Note the slight differences.... Soft Organizer will show Metro Apps, Adv. Un. will not. Dates appear out of order in Adv. Un. as well. I believe that either will work. When I added Revo into the mix it adds more confusion: 2 are sorted by Data (Adv. Un. can't be). Dates just don't match? In Revo the 'Quicken' entries bother me some. Q2014 was updated (via Quicken) to 2015 and then 2016. I don't think I should even consider removing the Q2014 or Q2015 entries. TeamViewer? Last used on the date and NOT updated? Hard to trust any of them?
