Ok guys my PM version decided to bite the bullet for some unknown reason and unfortunately I didn't have a Bookmarks back up (I thought I had but obviously not an updated one), so my question is this:
Is it possible to extract the Bookmarks list from a browser that refuses to load at all?

Ok for anyone else with a similar issue I found a way to enable the latest bookmarks tha are automatically backed up by PM daily in the form of a JSON file(s). You first need to make sure hidden file/folders are set to Show. Navigate to the Bookmarks options in FF (is easier than using other browsers) select Import and Backup. Select Restore and Choose File. Navigate to c:\Users\yournamehere\AppData\Roaming\MoonchildProductions\PaleMoon\Profiles\profileid e.g fr5c971s.default.....\bookmark back ups\ Choose a file which you know will be ok (I picked two days ago as I had no changes yesterday) it will wipe all existing bookmarks currently saved (if any) in FF and replace with the JSON bookmarks. All courtesy of: forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=883325&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a and kb.mozillazine.org/Lost_bookmarks#Restoring_bookmarks_in_Firefox_3_and_aboveNow all I have to do is uninstall/reinstall PM and see if it happens again.
