Hi Guys, Long time member first time poster here, I'm looking for a 64bit capable disk imaging software for free if possible but am willing to pay for the right software. Have tried Macrium free and it will not allow for 64 bit image backup.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Snapper

I don't understand? I though the system you are running under, 32 or 64 bit, doesn't matter with any imaging s/w? I'm running under W8.1 x64. When I was on W7 x64, I was using Norton Ghost 15. Once I upgraded to W8 however Ghost wasn't supported. I tried Macrium, Paragon, and others that did imaging. In no case did I find it wouldn't run or image on my x64 system? Matter of fact, HERE they say it works on x64?

I know Mike uses it on his 64bit comps. Maybe he will come along and tell you more. My comps are all 32bit.

I can confirm that Macrium is now working for snapper, the issue came from using the file hippo download which only has the 32bit version. The Macrium download which uses Cnet downloader (which was the worry because of their hidden nasties in the past) allows for the 64bit choice.
He sends his thanks but is a little snowed under at present.
