WireOver lives in appdata > Local. Not program files. I did not know that having never got it to install properly either way it was in my temp folder and only partially working

Still something to keep an eye on. Right now been running for many hours without a recurrence of my problem. Haven't been using WO either.

Still something to keep an eye on. Right now been running for many hours without a recurrence of my problem. Haven't been using WO either. You could also see if it happens in SAFE MODE if it should occur again. If you need too, use MSCONFIG to stop some startups and see if that helps.

Do as Irv suggests, and also have a look in autoruns, and Services. Might give you a clue. Event Viewer should also help.

Now has been three days without a reoccurrence of the problem I was having. As it turns out the problem was a hardware problem. My lighted keyboard shuts the lighting off after a few minutes of non use. By chance I noticed that the keyboard lit up on it's own. When that happened I checked and task bar was not operating properly. I did not reboot, just switched out usb keyboard with another and problem has not returned since. Thanks for the help and suggestions given, will mark this solved.
