Quadcopter update.
Well, it eventually arrived, ready to fly, as it were.
Came fully charged.
Connected battery, loads of flashing lights. Fired up remote control without reading manual first! Result; I moved the accelerator and it shot off at high speed and (crash) landed on a high shelf in my pub!!
No damage, decided to read the very expansive manual.
Calibration!!
Did that. Got it to take off, hover and land. I also attached the 'novice' protector ring (protects the blades on crash).
Still a left yaw problem on take off and forward movement, so a bit more practice needed and perhaps move forward to page 13 of 23 in the instruction manual.
Not tried camera yet, jeez, let me get the bugger in the air first!!
Was very surprised at the build quality, 6" across, nice weight feel, not cheap. More over, amazed at the tech involved from the transmitter and the unit.
Will report back hopefully with flight footage soon. (including crash landings, if any) LOL

I've had to send it back, one of the rotors is not spinning correctly so cannot get a sustained flight, replacement on way

Irv, it is exactly the same machine and yes the it does come from China, so like everything else!
The build was quite good actually.
However, there was a motor / rotor on one arm not spinning correctly and trim failed.
Will have some trials with the replacement

Was told by my friends in the UK, and France that computers and parts are less money in the states then where they live. Seems like copters are more expensive in the states.
