Tool launched to detect government surveillance spyware on your computer Amnesty International has created a tool designed to scan your computer for surveillance spyware used by governments>>>>> A new tool to combat surveillance spyware typically used by governments and other organisations to spy on human rights activists and journalists has been released by Amnesty International. Detekt is the first tool that detects major surveillance software to be released to the public, the organisation said, which worked in collaboration with Digitale Gesellschaft, Electronic Frontier Foundation and Privacy International to built it.
