When Site is viewed from my phone (not logged into any account just a guest user) I find that I am able to use the Quote function = shows as a BBCode script to copy is this normal ? Also (and I don't actually think this is site related), does anyone else have trouble viewing embedded vids ? I keep getting a black screen and Flash player/container shows in Task Manager. Using PaleMoon 20.0.1 Also the same thing in Opera and Firefox. But not in Avant

The 'subscription' for e-mails of postings in threads you are in points to the FIRST post on the first page... This is one I got for me first coming on-line.... The link line reads "http://tgigeeks.boards.net/threads/recent/1" where 1 is the first post. Can it be changed somehow to provide the proper number of the post or is this a 'forum' problem that is out of your control? This would be a real pain in an active thread when you might get 8 e-mails about replies and the thread is 6 pages long. Can you also put in the e-mail like many forums do the message content?

Site is still being worked on not even 24 hours old. Could be just a glitch.

Doubt it as I discovered what the '1' at the end it, it is the TREAD itself. Make it 10 and you wind up in a different thread.
To even see the page the response was on it would have to be this, "http://tgigeeks.boards.net/thread/1/welcome-new-forum?page=2" but even that wouldn't point to the direct response to my post.
I'd suspect a website limitation, but I could be wrong.

Hmm, the reply area below a message has a QUICK REPLY heading and on the right is 'Reply' and on the bottom is 'Post Quick Reply' but they are really different.
I think the 'Reply' actually belongs on the message itself you wish to reply too (with the Advanced features). Just before or after the 'Quote' (which is also an Advanced Reply). Leave the Quick Reply for those that do not want Advanced features. However, I think if one starts a Quick Reply and then decides they need Advanced Features I believe when I did this, started in the Quick Reply and then changed to Reply the data entered was shown in the Reply which is good. Yup, just did that and it moved over. Maybe that 'Reply' should be called 'Advance Reply' to avoid confusion?

All well and good, but you now it appears have removed the capability to reply to a message that is not the last one (or that never existed)? Only way now would be a quote on one that isn't the last? As I'm composing this one I see two buttons to add to this post, an 'Add Attachement' and 'Add image to post' buttons, and those two do the same thing essentially, but in different ways. The last one does allow image resizing and I think only that one should be kept, but I don't think both are needed.

Actually I quite like the 'Add Attachment' function as it allows for a quick and easy snip of a pic as opposed to signing in to one thing then another etc..

Saw an error composing my message posted at tgigeeks.boards.net/thread/24/windows-8-live-tile-problem, in the middle of the long compose a page break appeared and I could NOT get rid of it and just continued typing. It DID not appear in the posted message. Give it a try composing a long message and you should see it (or it came in because I used the LIST ITEM)? It shows in the 8th bullet my comment, but it might be LINE related. Also, when you look at a message a LINK shows as BLACK with the rest of the text blueish green... most forums the text is black and the link blue unless it was selected, then a different color depending on browser and settings. Probably best to follow the normal message display conventions I would think? One reason to do that is because you do allow color selection for TEXT (I just changed it for TEXT) and not sure what it might look like after posting as all text is changed?

Ahh, I see every other post is different background and text... Can you make ALL text area's the same with a different 'outline' background? You can HARDLY read the TEXT I did above, but this one since it will be with a white background should be readable.

Hi Irv,
I noticed this look with the message composition too, but it doesn't stop the end result (may cause a problem with new members tho) it shall be looked into I'm sure (incidentally, it happens whether you use List functions or not might just be the design).

the little "tools" icon at the top right of a post will present a drop down list of actions - one of which is "report"
